Birla is a village in an industrial area called Zuari Nagar. Most of the people living in this area are workers from the factories.

This community started when the families from Karnataka came to Goa in search of work in the factory. A great majority of working people living in Birla are labors, blue-collar workers, servants, gardeners, and other types of hard workers as for this kind of work much education is not required.

The Birla community has great potential through its families and specially the new generation of children and teenagers. Our purpose is to see every child together with her family having a change to grow and live a life in the fullest.

Objective:

A) To provide a holistic approach to social and educational development
B) To provide a place for entertainment, as a gathering point for the community through social, cultural and recreational programs.
