A Brazilian team arrived in 1994 to establish a work in Goa. They began a chain of fasting and prayer from April 1994 to April 1995. During this time they had long periods of worship, intercession and hearing God’s voice together.
From the chain of fasting and prayer the work in Goa has now grow to different ministries which varies from training school staff to community
development workers to church planters. In 1996 we had our first DTS (Discipleship Training School).
Our staffs in their majority are Indian young people, few families, few foreigners, and volunteers, seeking new challenges.
We believe in working in partnership with local churches in Goa, so that together we can obey the commands of Christ and send out people to fulfill the Great commission.
We also encourage our workers to keep strong links with their local church, involving their church leadership in key decisions for their ministry. This partnership is vital to our work and part of our commitment as an interdenominational organization.
